Like everyone else, I would like to send a Mother's Day shout out to Eleanor Bynum & my Mother-in-Law Trudy Clarke. I'm proud and lucky to still have you here with me!
But today, I wanted to take a different route. I'm sure we all have friends and family, that no longer have their mothers here to physically hold on to. They only have the memories to grasp, because their mothers now carry angel wings on their backs. Days like today, are understandably, a little harder for them to celebrate due to the grief they re-live. So today, If you know someone, whose heart may be a little heavier, make them laugh a little harder. I'm sure they would appreciate the gesture.
And I'm sure if each of them had a voice on my blog, their message to us would be: "If your mother is still alive, hug them a little tighter today, I wish I could". So with that being said, I would like to give a special shout out to those who may be rejoicing in their mother's memory.

My brutha from another mutha...This remembrance blog is AWESOME...I thank God I still have my mom w/ me, but my hubby's mom passed 8 yrs ago, and each yr seems like it was just yesterday and it doesn't get any easier on this day.....so console your friends/family members who loss their mom, and although you can't replace the luv of their mother, just let them know you're there for them....be blessed all
